Wesley Baker is a British entrepreneur, founder, CEO and bestselling author. For more than four decades he has founded, built and led businesses, developed new products and concepts, entered new markets and pursued opportunities across industries ranging from travel and aviation to medical devices, aerospace, software and artificial intelligence.

His professional life began in travel in the 1980s, working overseas seasons on the Mediterranean at a time when international holidays were still being reinvented. Travel became the spine of his career: creating, launching, developing and leading travel businesses, working across international markets, and — later — involvement in launching airline businesses.

Alongside travel, Wesley has built and led science-led and technology businesses. He was Founder and CEO of a medical-device company based in Minnesota, USA, for approximately seven years, developing innovative breath-detection technology. He was Founder and CEO of a space and aerospace rocket company working on concepts associated with space tourism flights, rocket technology, satellite launch systems and commercial space opportunities. He has held Board Director-level experience within an innovative science and technology company working in advanced detection of chemical, biological and weapons-related threats.

His software experience spans travel-industry software, gaming software and artificial intelligence, including founder involvement in one of the UK's early generative-AI software ventures. He continues to develop and explore AI software opportunities designed for specific industry sectors. His entrepreneurial experience also includes manufacturing in home fragrance and in watersports and surf lifestyle equipment, and Founder and CEO experience distributing lifestyle clothing and accessory brands across Europe.

Today Wesley is Founder and CEO of PURE ONE Group. He also invests in and acquires businesses where his experience can contribute to their development and growth, and his interests are expanding into property acquisition, investment and development.

Wesley is also a bestselling author. His books include the Echoes travel memoirs, the Sunshine Seasons novels and the James Barker spy thrillers — stories built from real places, real weather and people he has known. He hosts podcasts, writes the Journal at wesleybaker.com, speaks internationally and appears regularly as a podcast and media guest. A lifelong surfer, he lives in Whitstable, Kent.
